The Great Escape

So back in the summer, dad started building a new horse trap fence for my sweet ponies.
We(Yes I helped.) built this fence:

North of the drive way, probably 200(give or take a few) yards, from this fence:
That is on the verge of falling completely down.   Dad is gong to pull it out, after the buffalo working.

We finally got everything wielded up, well dad did.  I was on "fire duty", its a very important job ya see, I have to make sure none of the sparks from the wielding rod didn't catch the dry grass on fire.  And I didn't let that happen, I whooped and beat flames, sparks and anything that resembled fire.  It makes me feel special  to get to weld a shovel and beat the ground, though people do look at me kinda funny when they go down the road and see me doing my fire-puter-outer-job.  They just don't get it!
ANYWAYS,
Last night, he cut 2 sections(One on the west end of the fence and one on the east.  Again I was the special fire-puter-outer!haha) out so we could turn the horses out into the brand spankin' new horse trap.  Bo Bo the Donkey was the first one to run out, while I was hot-footing it to the house to get my camera.
Here he goes down the driveway.....

And here he comes back up it....

And this is where he does his little "trot-hop-skip-kick" dance and he throws his head into the air.....

I think he think's that he makes him ran faster when he slings his head.

Go Bo, Go!!!

Meanwhile, Blakey Poo is getting trying to get kicked into high gear and is flying trying to run fast down the driveway....

And he finally brakes out of a trot and into his "Wild Mustang" run

Dun dun duh dunt dun duuuuuuuh, CHARGE!

He had to make sure the grass was safe to eat.
Seeings how he hasn't stopped eating since
we turned them out, I'd say its ok.

But this while the boys were running laps around their new ground, Boogie is bum-fuzzled, she can't figure out how to get out of the old horse trap.  The whole go-through-the-hole-in-the-fence thing blew her mind.

So Blake went back into the old horse trap and tried to get her out....

But that didn't work, so he went back out with Bo and ran some more.

......And around the pond they come!

Boogie's still dumb-stumped at this point, about how she has to go THROUGH the 8 foot hole in the fence to get out.  So dad and Little Britches get on the 4-wheeler and very gently push her towards the hole in the east end of the fence.  That doesn't work, so they go to the west end, Boogie gets insulted and heads for the barn at a dead run.
Dad and Little Britches head after her and pen her up in the lot...
Dad puts a halter on her and then leads her down to the hole, and out into the new horse trap.
And they all lived Happily Ever After.

Until
Bo got on the pond dam where the green grass was and Boogie saw him...

She's so moody!

Now, see Blakey Poo's wet sides?  He had to go for a swim in the pond, it was about 55 degrees yesterday evening when I was taking these pictures.

That horse......he ain't all there.

And once again, they all lived Happily Ever After

The End!:)
