Dear Josie,
When I clicked on your blog for the first time, my heart skipped a beat. My dream place. I grew up in Chicago...far from the life you have, but always dreamed of horses and big skies. I still do! We now have lived in Wisconsin for almost 20 years and am surrounded by cows and hoses, but we live in a subdivision..not quite the farm I dreamed of, but very blessed in other ways. When we have travelled out west, my eyes are glued to what I see out the window...the skies, tall grasss, and animals. I will stop by again and enjoy what you see every day...I'm glad you bring your camera!

Thanks Anita! I'm very, very blessed to live in a place like this. Everyday is a new opportunity to take pictures of one thing or another. And I always bring my camera!:)

Job 39 19-25

“Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with a flowing mane? Do you make him leap like a locust, striking terror with his proud snorting? He paws fiercely, rejoicing in his strength, and charges into the fray. He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; he does not shy away from the sword. The quiver rattles against his side, along with the flashing spear and lance. In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds. At the blast of the trumpet he snorts, ‘Aha!’ He catches the scent of battle from afar, the shout of commanders and the battle cry.

He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
